Our Purpose

The Peace and Justice Committee is charged with fostering and promoting a faith-based social action agenda through the life of the parish relying on the tradition of Catholic Social Teaching.

The group meets on the last Saturday of each month, 8:30am in the Faith Formation Office. More information is available by calling Bill Conner (734-693-0446) or Lorie Bronson (734-241-6097).

The following are events hosted by the Monroe Vicariate Peace and Justice Committee
They are events designed to inspire others to deeper discipleship

            Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship – Series III

  2. October 28, 2010 – The Environment

Series III utilizes a panel of presenters to explore each topic.  Questions from the audience are explored following the presentations. These evenings take place in the Parish Life Center of St. Mary Parish 127 N. Monroe Street, Monroe 7-9pm.  Light refreshments provided.
