Priestly Vocations (Archdiocese of Detroit)
The official priestly vocations page for the Archdiocese of Detroit.  This site contains a listing of the many different events and resources that the Archdiocese offers to support men in their call to be priests.  Seminarian rosters, information about daily seminary life, and much more is available.

Permanent Deacon (Archdiocese of Detroit)
The Archdiocese of Detroit welcomes inquiries from Catholic men who after prayerful discernment seek to respond to the call to serve in the Permanent Diaconate. The deacon is a man of faith called by the church to serve God and God's people as an official representative of the church. He assists the bishop and priests in performing sacraments, proclamation of the Gospel and by dedicating himself to the charity of others.

Saint of the Day
Catholic saints are holy people and human people who lived extraordinary lives. Each saint the Church honors responded to God's invitation to use his or her unique gifts. God calls each one of us to be a saint. Click on the link for other saints celebrated on this date.

www.masstimes.org
The purpose of www.masstimes.org is to help Catholics get to Mass by helping them find churches and worship times worldwide. You can find daily and weekend mass when you are traveling.

Sacred Heart Major Seminary
The official website of Sacred Heart Major Seminary, the Archdiocese of Detroit’s seminary.  Have a glance to look at faculty rosters, and even register for classes…did you know anyone can take classes there, or even get a terminal degree in philosophy or theology?

Our Sunday Visitor
Our Sunday Visitor’s official page.  OSV owes its existence to the iron will and vision of a young Indiana parish priest.  At the turn of the 20th century, Father John Francis Noll was alarmed at the immense amount of anti-Catholic literature flooding America.  Fr. Noll set out to develop a weekly Catholic parish bulletin (which is one of the primary reason almost every American parish publishes one) with defenses of our Catholic faith.  Today, OSV is one the largest American publishers of Catholic books, pamphlets, and Sunday bulletins and collection envelopes.

Detroit Catholic (online newspaper)
The official website of The Michigan Catholic, which is the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit and all other dioceses in Michigan. Detroit Catholic is only available online.

www.catholic.com
Do you have a question regarding anything relating to the Catholic faith?  Look no further…with forums, a link to their live radio station, a documents library, links to their monthly magazine, and other articles, this website is sure to fill you in.  Theologically sound and very stimulating.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Bishops of America to aid those affected by World War II.  Today, CRS is one of the largest charitable organizations in the world.  They also do the most with their fundraising – 93 cents of every dollar goes directly to relief efforts.

EWTN
The Eternal Word Television Network’s official website.  Media of past shows, EWTN prime time live, and other videos are readily available.  EWTN also maintains a blog that is served by a wide range of panelists who specialize in everything from Scripture to bioethics.

www.newadvent.org
New Advent acts as a hub for major Catholic blogs in America; thus, this website is chock full of great Catholic thought and commentary.  This site was originally a source for the Modern Catholic Encyclopedia, which is still at the mast head.  This source alone is valuable for its in-depth articles.
